A farmer and his wife had a very special goose. Every morning, she laid an egg made of pure gold.
Traduction
They sold the eggs at the market, and little by little they became rich. They bought new clothes, a bigger house and two horses.
Traduction
But the farmer was impatient. "One egg a day is too slow," he said to his wife. "I want all the gold now!"
Traduction
"The goose must be full of gold inside," said his wife. "If we open her up, we'll have everything at once."
Traduction
So they killed the goose. But inside, she was just like any other goose. There was no gold at all.
Traduction
Now they had no goose and no more golden eggs. They had lost everything because they were too greedy. Those who want too much often lose what they have.
Traduction
