When they had gone, Ali Baba tried the magic words. Inside the cave, there were mountains of gold, silver and silk. He took a few bags of gold home and became comfortably rich.

But Morgiana, Ali Baba's clever servant, discovered the trick. She poured boiling oil into the jars and defeated the thieves. Then she unmasked the captain. To thank her, Ali Baba gave her her freedom, and she married his son.
