Welcome back to Teen Talk. Today's question: should phones be banned at school? Our first guest is Liam, sixteen, from Manchester.
Liam: I think a ban is a good idea. Last year, my school introduced one, and honestly, the atmosphere changed. At lunchtime, people actually talk to each other now instead of staring at their screens.
Liam: My grades have improved too, because I'm not distracted by notifications every five minutes.
Thanks, Liam. Our second guest, Priya, seventeen, disagrees.
Priya: I understand the arguments, but phones are also useful tools. We use them to check our timetable, to look up words in a dictionary, or to contact our parents in an emergency.
Priya: Instead of banning them completely, schools should teach us to use them responsibly. After all, we'll need that skill in the real world.
So, a total ban or responsible use? Send us your opinion, and we'll read the best messages next week.
