Hi, I'm Chloé. Last month, I spent a weekend in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, with my best friend Zoé.
We arrived on Friday evening by plane. It was cold and windy, so we went straight to our youth hostel near the old town.
On Saturday morning, we visited Edinburgh Castle. It's on a hill, so the view of the city is amazing. In the afternoon, we walked down the Royal Mile and listened to a man playing the bagpipes.
On Sunday, the weather was better. We climbed Arthur's Seat, an old volcano in the middle of the city. It took us about an hour.
My favourite moment was the evening in a traditional café. I tried haggis for the first time. I wasn't sure at first, but it was actually delicious!
Next year, I'd like to go back in August for the festival.
