Until ou by ?

Les deux se traduisent parfois par « jusqu'à », mais ils n'ont pas le même sens :

À retenir

  • until = jusqu'à (ça continue) ; by = au plus tard (délai).
  • for + durée (for two hours) ; during + nom (during the film) ; while + phrase.
  • from ... to ; within (d'ici) ; since (depuis) ; ago (il y a).
