Pour imaginer : If I were + ..., I would + verbe (avec were pour toutes les personnes).

Mise en situation : le débat

Teacher : Robin Hood breaks the law. So why is he a hero?
Robin des Bois enfreint la loi. Alors pourquoi est-ce un héros ?
Lucas : Because the law is unfair! The Sheriff is the real criminal. Robin fights injustice.
Parce que la loi est injuste ! Le shérif est le vrai criminel. Robin combat l'injustice.
Chloe : I disagree. Stealing is stealing. If everyone broke the law when they didn't like it, there'd be chaos.
Teacher : Is it ever right to break the law?
Est-il parfois juste d'enfreindre la loi ?
Lucas : If I were a poor farmer in Sherwood, I would probably see Robin as a hero.
Chloe : Maybe. But today, I would rather change unfair laws by voting and protesting.
