Pour décrire ce qui se passe sur une image : is / are + verbe en -ing. Utilise aussi there is / there are pour dire ce qu'il y a.

Mise en situation : décrire une photo

Teacher : What's happening in the picture?
Que se passe-t-il sur l'image ?
Inès : In the foreground, a boy is playing football. On the right, two girls are eating ice creams.
Au premier plan, un garçon joue au foot. À droite, deux filles mangent des glaces.
Teacher : And in the background?
Et à l'arrière-plan ?
Inès : There is a park and a dog is running.
Il y a un parc et un chien court.
