Le 10 avril 1912, le Titanic quitte Southampton pour New York. Dans la nuit du 14 au 15 avril, il heurte un iceberg et coule. Il n'y avait pas assez de canots : plus de 1 500 personnes sont mortes. Pour raconter : prétérit en -ing (was sailing) + prétérit simple (hit).

Paul : Because there weren't enough lifeboats, and the water was freezing.
