Dear diary,Cher journal,
Today we went to the beach.
We ate fish and chips.Nous avons mangé du fish and chips.
It was amazing!C'était génial !
In the afternoon, we visited a castle.L'après-midi, nous avons visité un château.

Pour organiser le récit : In the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, then, after that. Et pour donner son avis : It was amazing / boring / funny!

Mise en situation : le journal d'Emma

Emma : Dear diary, today was our first day in Cornwall.
Cher journal, aujourd'hui était notre premier jour en Cornouailles.
Emma : In the morning, we went to the beach. I swam in the sea. It was very cold!

Emma : Then I saw a seal on the rocks! It looked at me!
Emma : For lunch, we ate pasties. They're Cornish pies with meat and vegetables.
Emma : In the afternoon, we visited a castle on a hill. My brother was tired and grumpy!
