Deux constructions : verbe + personne + chose (give my sister a book) ou verbe + chose + to / for + personne (give a book to my sister). Avec un pronom pour la chose, on utilise la 2e : Give it to me (et non Give me it). Avec buy et make : for (I bought flowers for my mum).

Qu'as-tu offert à ton frère pour son anniversaire ?
Sam : I gave him a video game. My parents bought him a bike.
Je lui ai offert un jeu vidéo. Mes parents lui ont acheté un vélo.
Lily : Can you send me a photo of the party?
Tu peux m'envoyer une photo de la fête ?
Sam : Sure, I'll send it to you tonight.
Bien sûr, je te l'envoie ce soir.
