Pour une activité manuelle, on utilise l'impératif : Fold the paper. Draw a heart. Cut it out. Glue it on the card. Et à l'intérieur, on écrit un message gentil : You're the best friend in the world!

Mise en situation : l'atelier

Teacher : Let's make Valentine cards! First, fold the paper in half.
Fabriquons des cartes de Saint-Valentin ! D'abord, pliez le papier en deux.
Lucas : Done! What next?
C'est fait ! Et ensuite ?
Teacher : Then draw a big heart and cut it out with your scissors.
Puis dessinez un grand cœur et découpez-le avec vos ciseaux.
Emma : Can I use glitter?
Je peux mettre des paillettes ?
Teacher : Yes, but use the glue stick first. Finally, write a nice message inside.
Oui, mais mettez d'abord la colle. Enfin, écrivez un gentil message à l'intérieur.
