Le soir, chaque enfant a sa petite routine. Pour la raconter dans l'ordre, on utilise first (d'abord), then (ensuite) et finally (enfin) : First, I have a bath. Then, I put on my pyjamas and I brush my teeth. Finally, Mum reads me a story. On se quitte avec Good night! Sweet dreams! Attention : pyjamas s'écrit avec un s en anglais.

Mise en situation : le soir à la maison

Mum : It's eight o'clock. Time for bed!
Il est huit heures. C'est l'heure d'aller au lit !
Ella : Oh, Mum! Five more minutes, please!
Oh, maman ! Encore cinq minutes, s'il te plaît !
Mum : No. First, put on your pyjamas. Then, brush your teeth.
Non. D'abord, mets ton pyjama. Ensuite, brosse-toi les dents.
Ella : OK. Can you read me a story?
D'accord. Tu peux me lire une histoire ?
Mum : Yes, one story. And finally, I turn off the light.
Oui, une histoire. Et enfin, j'éteins la lumière.
