LOL and BRB : emojis et textos (CM2)

CU = see youà plus

Dans les messages, les anglophones abrègent beaucoup : LOL (MDR), BRB (je reviens), BTW (au fait), IDK (je sais pas), TTYL (on se parle plus tard), CU (à plus, car C se prononce comme see et U comme you). Mais attention : on ne les utilise jamais dans un mail au prof ou une rédaction !

Mise en situation : le chat de classe

Ava : Hi! Did u finish the maths homework?
Salut ! Tu as fini les devoirs de maths ?
Leo : IDK how to do question 3 😩
Je sais pas comment faire la question 3 😩
Ava : It's easy! BTW, are u coming to the park later?
C'est facile ! Au fait, tu viens au parc tout à l'heure ?
Leo : Yes! BRB, my mum is calling me.
Oui ! Je reviens, ma mère m'appelle.
Ava : LOL OK 😂
MDR d'accord 😂
Leo : Back! TTYL, CU at 4!

  • LOL, BRB, BTW, IDK, TTYL, CU, OMG, u (you), r (are), 4 (for).
  • a text message, an emoji, to text someone ; jamais dans un texte formel !
