Isaac Newton, a famous scientistIsaac Newton, un scientifique célèbre
An apple fell from the tree.Une pomme est tombée de l'arbre.
Why do things fall down?Pourquoi les objets tombent-ils ?
Gravity pulls things towards the Earth.
The Moon goes round the Earth.

Teacher : In 1666, Isaac Newton was sitting under an apple tree. Suddenly, an apple fell.
Leo : Did it fall on his head?
Elle lui est tombée sur la tête ?
Teacher : Probably not! But he thought: why do things always fall down, not up or sideways?
Nina : Because of gravity!
À cause de la gravité !
Teacher : Exactly. Gravity pulls everything towards the Earth. It also keeps the Moon going round us.
Exactement.
Leo : So without gravity, we would float in the air!
