Pour parler de ses talents : I'm good at + nom ou verbe en -ing : I'm good at football, I'm good at dancing. Pour la négation : I'm not very good at... (plus gentil que I'm bad at). Dans les écoles britanniques, on organise souvent un talent show en fin d'année.

Mise en situation : le spectacle

Teacher : We're having a talent show! What are you good at, Zoe?
On organise un spectacle de talents ! Dans quoi es-tu douée, Zoe ?
Zoe : I'm good at dancing!
Je suis douée en danse !
Teacher : And you, Max?
Et toi, Max ?
Max : I'm great at juggling! But I'm not very good at singing.
Je suis super fort en jonglage ! Mais je ne suis pas très doué en chant.
Zoe : I can't juggle. Can you teach me?
Je ne sais pas jongler. Tu peux m'apprendre ?
Max : Sure! Practice makes perfect!
Bien sûr ! C'est en forgeant qu'on devient forgeron !
