to attend = assister à« attendre » se dit to wait

I'm going to the library : à la bibliothèque, pas à la librairie (bookshop). Et actually veut dire « en fait », jamais « actuellement » (currently, at the moment).

Mise en situation : le malentendu

Hugo : Yesterday I went to the library to buy a book.
Emily : To buy a book? You can't buy books in a library! You mean a bookshop.
Hugo : Oh! False friend! And actually, I'm very sensible.
Oh ! Faux ami ! Et actuellement, je suis très sensible.
Emily : Sensible? You mean sensitive. Sensible means reasonable! And actually means in fact.
Sensible ? Tu veux dire sensitive. Sensible veut dire raisonnable ! Et actually veut dire en fait.
Hugo : This is so confusing! I need to attend a lesson about false friends.
That one is correct: attend means go to!
Ha ha ! Celui-là est correct : attend veut dire assister à !
