choresles tâches ménagères

À la maison, chacun aide ! Les tâches ménagères se disent chores. Attention aux verbes : on dit make my bed (faire son lit) mais do the washing-up (faire la vaisselle). Pour dire à quelle fréquence : every day, on Saturdays, sometimes, never.

Mise en situation : à la maison

Mum : Jack! Tidy your room, please!
Jack ! Range ta chambre, s'il te plaît !
Jack : Oh no! I tidy my room every Saturday!
Oh non ! Je range ma chambre tous les samedis !
Mum : And make your bed. Then lay the table for dinner.
Et fais ton lit. Ensuite, mets la table pour le dîner.
Jack : And who does the washing-up?
Et qui fait la vaisselle ?
Mum : Your sister does the washing-up, and Dad takes out the bin.
Ta sœur fait la vaisselle, et papa sort la poubelle.
Jack : OK, that's fair!
D'accord, c'est juste !
