Sharks and jellyfish : à l'aquarium (CM1)

Sharks are faster than turtles.Les requins sont plus rapides que les tortues.

À l'aquarium, on compare les animaux ! Adjectif court : -er than (big → bigger than, fast → faster than). Adjectif long : more ... than (more colourful than). Savais-tu qu'une pieuvre a huit bras et trois cœurs ? Et que c'est le papa hippocampe qui porte les bébés ?

Mise en situation : l'aquarium

Guide : This is the shark tank. Sharks are very fast swimmers.
Voici le bassin des requins. Les requins nagent très vite.
Leo : Are sharks faster than dolphins?
Les requins sont plus rapides que les dauphins ?
Guide : Some sharks are! And look, this octopus has got eight arms and three hearts.
Certains, oui ! Et regardez, cette pieuvre a huit bras et trois cœurs.
Chloe : Three hearts? Wow! And what's that?
Trois cœurs ? Waouh ! Et ça, c'est quoi ?
Guide : It's a seahorse. The dad carries the babies!
C'est un hippocampe. C'est le papa qui porte les bébés !
Chloe : The fish in the coral reef are more colourful than the sharks!
Les poissons du récif de corail sont plus colorés que les requins !
