Au Royaume-Uni, le stage des collégiens s'appelle work experience. Pour en parler, on utilise surtout le prétérit.

Présenter le stage

Teacher : So, Noah, where did you do your work experience?
Alors, Noah, où as-tu fait ton stage ?
Noah : At a vet's in my town. I chose it because I love animals.
Chez un vétérinaire de ma ville. Je l'ai choisi parce que j'adore les animaux.
Teacher : What did you do there?
Qu'as-tu fait là-bas ?
Noah : I helped the nurse, fed the animals and answered the phone. What I liked most was watching an operation!
J'ai aidé l'infirmière, nourri les animaux et répondu au téléphone. Ce que j'ai préféré, c'est regarder une opération !
Teacher : Great! Did it confirm your choice?
Super ! Est-ce que ça a confirmé ton choix ?
Noah : Yes! I definitely want to become a vet.
Oui ! Je veux vraiment devenir vétérinaire.
