Are you a night owl or an early bird?Es-tu plutôt du soir ou du matin ?
Everyone has a body clock.
Studies show that teens need about nine hours of sleep.
Some schools have tried starting later.
Students who sleep more tend to get better results.

Pour argumenter avec des faits : Studies show that..., According to..., tend to...

Mise en situation : le débat

Teacher : Should school start at ten o'clock instead of eight?
Lucas : Yes! I'm a night owl. I can't fall asleep before midnight, and I'm exhausted in the morning.
Oui !
Teacher : Is that just laziness?
Est-ce seulement de la paresse ?
Nora : No, it's biology. Studies show that teenagers' body clocks shift later. It's natural.
Lucas : And according to some research, students who sleep more tend to get better results.
Nora : But I'm an early bird! And if we started later, we'd finish later, and there'd be less time for sport.
