Les quatre capitales : Londres (Angleterre), Édimbourg (Écosse), Cardiff (pays de Galles) et Belfast (Irlande du Nord). Pour situer une ville : It's in the north of England (dans le nord de l'Angleterre), on the coast (sur la côte). Attention : in the north of = à l'intérieur ; north of (sans the) = au nord de, à l'extérieur.

Teacher : What's the capital of Wales?
Quelle est la capitale du pays de Galles ?
Leo : Cardiff! It's in the south of Wales, on the coast.
Cardiff ! C'est dans le sud du pays de Galles, sur la côte.
Teacher : Good. Where is Edinburgh?
Bien. Où est Édimbourg ?
Zoe : It's in the east of Scotland. It's the capital of Scotland.
C'est dans l'est de l'Écosse. C'est la capitale de l'Écosse.

Leo : It's the capital of Northern Ireland. It's on another island, west of Great Britain.
