La marelle se dit hopscotch. Dans la cour, on lance un caillou (a stone) sur une case, puis on saute : hop (sur un pied) ou jump (à pieds joints). Et on compte les cases en anglais : one, two, three... jusqu'à ten !

Mise en situation : dans la cour

Mia : Let's play hopscotch!
Jouons à la marelle !
Leo : OK! It's my turn! I throw the stone... on three!
D'accord ! C'est mon tour ! Je lance le caillou... sur le trois !
Mia : Now hop on one leg!
Maintenant, saute sur un pied !
Leo : One, two... jump! Four, five...
Un, deux... je saute ! Quatre, cinq...
Mia : Well done, Leo!
Bravo, Leo !
Leo : Your turn, Mia!
À toi, Mia !
