You mustn't get cut off by the sea!

The sea has gone! Where is it?
Regarde ! La mer est partie ! Où est-elle ?
Mum : It's low tide. The tide goes out and comes in twice a day.
Theo : Why does it do that?
Pourquoi fait-elle ça ?
Mum : Because the Moon pulls the sea. Now we can walk to the island and explore the rock pools.
Theo : Great! Can we stay there all afternoon?
Super ! On peut y rester tout l'après-midi ?
Mum : No! We must come back before high tide. We mustn't get cut off by the sea!
Non !
