What if it went wrong?

Hypothèses : What if it went wrong? It could have serious consequences.

Mise en situation : le débat

Teacher : Some scientists suggest reflecting sunlight back into space to cool the planet. What do you think?
Nathan : It sounds like science fiction! Is it really possible?
Ça ressemble à de la science-fiction ! C'est vraiment possible ?
Teacher : In 1991, a volcanic eruption sent particles into the sky, and global temperatures fell for about a year.
Sophie : But what if it went wrong? It could change rainfall and cause droughts in some countries.
Nathan : And who would decide? One country could cool the planet without asking the others.
Sophie : It should only be a last resort. Reducing emissions is still the best solution.
