Dans la cuisine (the kitchen), on trouve le frigo (the fridge), le four (the oven), l'évier (the sink), les placards (cupboards) et, dans toutes les maisons britanniques, une bouilloire (a kettle) pour le thé ! Pour dire où sont les choses : in (dans), on (sur), under (sous).

Mise en situation : la cuisine

Mum : Can you help me, Noah? Where is the milk?
Tu peux m'aider, Noah ? Où est le lait ?
Noah : It's in the fridge!
Il est dans le frigo !
Mum : And the cups?
Et les tasses ?
Noah : They're in the cupboard.
Elles sont dans le placard.
Mum : Thank you! Careful, the oven is hot!
Merci ! Attention, le four est chaud !
Noah : OK! I'll put the plates in the sink.
D'accord ! Je mets les assiettes dans l'évier.
