Dans les collèges britanniques, les after-school clubs sont très nombreux : théâtre, échecs, chorale, robotique, sport... Pour s'inscrire : I'd like to join... Pour donner des infos : It takes place on Mondays at 4 pm, in room 12. Attention : interested in + nom ou verbe en -ing (I'm interested in acting).

Mise en situation : la journée des clubs

Mr Patel : Welcome to the clubs fair! Are you interested in drama?
Bienvenue au forum des clubs ! Le théâtre t'intéresse ?
Inès : Yes! I'd like to join the drama club. When does it take place?
Oui ! Je voudrais m'inscrire au club de théâtre. Quand a-t-il lieu ?
Mr Patel : On Wednesdays, from four to five, in the hall.
Le mercredi, de quatre à cinq heures, dans la grande salle.
Theo : I'm more interested in chess. Is there a chess club?
Moi, je m'intéresse plus aux échecs. Il y a un club d'échecs ?
Mr Patel : Yes, on Mondays at lunchtime. And there's a coding club on Fridays.
Oui, le lundi à midi. Et il y a un club de code le vendredi.
Theo : Great! Can I join both?
Super ! Je peux m'inscrire aux deux ?
