Ces petits mots rendent l'oral naturel. Attention au faux-ami : actually = en fait ; « actuellement » se dit currently ou at the moment.

Mise en situation : une conversation

Mia : I thought you didn't like rap.
Je croyais que tu n'aimais pas le rap.
Jack : Actually, I love it now. Well, some songs.
En fait, j'adore ça maintenant. Enfin, certaines chansons.
Mia : Anyway, are you coming to the concert? Oh, by the way, Tom is coming too.
Bref, tu viens au concert ? Oh, au fait, Tom vient aussi.
Jack : Great! I mean, if it's not too expensive.
Génial ! Je veux dire, si ce n'est pas trop cher.

À retenir

  • actually = en fait (≠ actuellement : currently).
