a postcard 📮une carte postale

Une carte postale commence par Dear + prénom et se termine par Love (bisous) ou See you soon! On raconte ses vacances au prétérit : go → went, see → saw, eat → ate, have → had. La Cornouailles (Cornwall), au sud-ouest de l'Angleterre, est célèbre pour ses plages et le surf.

Mise en situation : la carte postale

Ella : Mum, can you help me write a postcard to Grandma?
Maman, tu peux m'aider à écrire une carte postale à mamie ?
Mum : Of course! Start with 'Dear Grandma'.
Bien sûr ! Commence par « Dear Grandma ».
Ella : Dear Grandma, we're having a great time in Cornwall! The weather was sunny every day.
Chère mamie, nous passons de super vacances en Cornouailles ! Il a fait beau tous les jours.
Mum : What did you do yesterday?
Qu'est-ce que tu as fait hier ?
Ella : We went surfing and I saw a seal! Then we ate fish and chips on the beach.
Nous avons fait du surf et j'ai vu un phoque ! Ensuite, nous avons mangé du fish and chips sur la plage.
Mum : Lovely! Now finish with 'See you soon! Love, Ella'.
Très bien ! Termine maintenant par « À bientôt ! Bisous, Ella ».
