Pour raconter une mésaventure de façon vivante, on utilise des connecteurs : At first (au début), Suddenly (soudain), Unfortunately (malheureusement), Luckily (heureusement), In the end (finalement). Les temps : le prétérit pour les actions (it started to rain), le past continuous pour le décor (we were sleeping), le past perfect pour ce qui s'était passé avant (we had forgotten).
