Le chien a joué dans la boue : il est sale (dirty) ! Il faut le laver avec du savon (soap) et faire plein de bulles (bubbles). Pour qu'il reste tranquille, on dit Stand still! Attention, quand il est mouillé (wet), il se secoue (shake) et éclabousse tout le monde ! Ensuite, une serviette (a towel), et il est propre (clean).

Mise en situation : dans le jardin

Tom : Mum! Rex is very dirty!
Maman ! Rex est très sale !
Mum : Oh no! Bath time, Rex! Get the soap, Tom.
Oh non ! C'est l'heure du bain, Rex ! Va chercher le savon, Tom.
Tom : Look at the bubbles! Stand still, Rex!
Regarde les bulles ! Ne bouge pas, Rex !
Mum : Careful! He's going to shake!
Attention ! Il va se secouer !
Tom : Oh no! Now I'm wet too!
Oh non ! Maintenant, moi aussi je suis mouillé !
Mum : Here's a towel. Good boy, Rex! You're clean!
Voilà une serviette. Bon chien, Rex ! Tu es propre !
