Dans la comptine Ten in the bed, dix enfants sont dans un lit. Le plus petit dit : Roll over! Roll over! (Tournez-vous !). Ils se tournent tous, et un enfant tombe : one fell out. Ensuite, il n'en reste plus que neuf... On compte à rebours jusqu'à one !

Mise en situation : dix dans le lit

Kids : There were ten in the bed, and the little one said...
Il y en avait dix dans le lit, et le petit a dit...
Little one : Roll over! Roll over!
Tournez-vous ! Tournez-vous !
Kids : So they all rolled over, and one fell out!
Alors ils se sont tous tournés, et un est tombé !
Teacher : How many now?
Combien maintenant ?
Kids : Nine!
Neuf !
Little one : Good night!
Bonne nuit !
