a driverless / self-driving carune voiture autonome
It uses sensors and cameras.Elle utilise des capteurs et des caméras.
Most accidents are caused by human error.
Self-driving cars could make roads safer.
But who is responsible if there's an accident?
I don't think I'll trust them.

? Que deviendront les chauffeurs ? Pour parler de l'avenir avec nuance : will probably, probably won't, I don't think it will..., might.

Mise en situation : le débat

Teacher : Would you get into a driverless taxi?
Monteriez-vous dans un taxi autonome ?
Oliver : Yes! Most accidents are caused by human error. Computers don't get tired or look at their phones.
Oui !
Nora : But computers can make mistakes too. And who is responsible if there's an accident? The passenger? The company?
L'entreprise ?
Oliver : The company, I think. And the cars will probably become safer every year.
Nora : Maybe, but what about taxi drivers and lorry drivers? They might lose their jobs.
Teacher : Good arguments on both sides. Personally, I don't think I'll trust them for a few years!
