Dans island, le s est muet : on dit « aïland ». Le plus long fleuve du Royaume-Uni est la Severn, la plus haute montagne est le Ben Nevis, en Écosse.

Dad : Look out of the window, kids!
Regardez par la fenêtre, les enfants !
Lily : Wow! A big mountain with snow!
Ouah ! Une grande montagne avec de la neige !
Tom : And a lake! It's blue.
Et un lac ! Il est bleu.
Dad : And there's a river. Can you see the cows in the field?
Et il y a une rivière. Vous voyez les vaches dans le champ ?
Lily : Yes! Moo!
Oui ! Meuh !
