"During" et "For"
"During" indique à quel moment un fait se produit. Il répond à la question "When?" (quand...?)
Exemple:
I will phone Ted during the morning.
J'appellerai Ted pendant la matinée.
J'appellerai Ted pendant la matinée.
"For" indique la durée d'une action. Il répond à la question "How long..." (pendant combien de temps...?)
Exemple:
Betty is going to stay here for three days. (et non during three days)
Betty va rester ici pendant trois jours.
Betty va rester ici pendant trois jours.
